Quad transmitter bus transceiver for RS-422 and RS-485 multipoint communication. Features a 10Mbps maximum data rate and operates from a single 5V supply (4.75V to 5.25V). This through-hole component is housed in a 16-pin PDIP N package with a 2.54mm pin pitch. It supports 1 driver per line at RS-422 and up to 32 drivers per line at RS-485, with two transmitter enables and 3-state driving mode. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
