WirelessHART embedded network manager forms and manages SmartMesh wireless sensor networks for industrial gateways and controllers. The module integrates a radio transceiver, embedded processor, and networking software for self-healing 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.15.4 mesh networks. It supports Ethernet and UART interfaces, XML API access, SD card signals, and status LED outputs. Operation is specified from a 4.0 V to 5.5 V input supply over a -40 °C to 85 °C industrial temperature range. RF specifications include 2.4000 GHz to 2.4835 GHz operation, 15 channels, 250 kbps raw data rate, and up to +8 dBm conducted output power.
