The MAX22508EASA+ is a high-speed, full-duplex RS-485/RS-422 transceiver optimized for data rates up to 50Mbps over long cable runs. It operates from a 3.0V to 5.5V supply and is designed for harsh industrial environments, offering high EFT immunity and extensive ESD protection. The device features integrated hot-swap protection and a fail-safe receiver to ensure reliable operation under fault conditions. It is housed in an 8-pin SOIC package and operates over the automotive temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
