CapSense controller integrates an M8C 8-bit CPU, 16 KB flash, and 2 KB SRAM for capacitive-sensing applications. The device supports up to 31 CapSense sensors, 34 digital I/O pins, and 34 analog inputs in the 48-pin QFN variants. It operates from 1.71 V to 5.5 V over a -40 °C to 85 °C ambient temperature range. On-chip resources include I2C slave, SPI master/slave, three 16-bit timers, comparators, ADC capability, internal oscillators, low-voltage detect, and programmable GPIO modes.
