Overview
This user guide details the ADMAGB3476 magnet assembly and the optional ADMAGMECH04 PCB-mounted shield, designed to maintain the 16mT to 31mT magnetic operating window for the ADMT4000 multiturn absolute position sensor. The integrated shield rotates with the magnet to reduce angular hysteresis and provides up to 88% protection against stray magnetic fields when both shields are utilized. Using Samarium Cobalt (SmCo), the assembly ensures performance stability across a -40°C to +125°C temperature range for industrial and automotive applications.
