Overview

The EVAL-M1-IM828-A is a power evaluation board within the Modular Application Design Kit (MADK) ecosystem. It features the IM828-XCC CIPOS Maxi 1200V three-phase Intelligent Power Module (IPM) tailored for motor drive applications. The board includes a standard M1 connector, allowing it to interface with control boards such as the EVAL-M1-101T. Key hardware features include an auxiliary DC/DC supply powered by the IMBF170R1K0M1 CoolSiC MOSFET, integrated current sensing and amplification, and DC-link voltage measurement. Designed for laboratory evaluation, it supports a DC link potential up to 800V and provides a platform for testing IPM characteristics and motor control performance.
