Overview

The EVAL-SDP-CB1Z System Development Platform (SDP) is a hardware controller board designed to interface various Analog Devices component evaluation boards with a PC. It is powered by an ADSP-BF527 Blackfin processor operating at up to 600 MHz and includes 32 MB of SDRAM and 32 Mb of flash memory. The board features high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity and utilizes two 120-pin Hirose FX8-120P-SV1 connectors to expose processor peripherals such as SPI, SPORT, I2C, GPIO, PPI, and asynchronous parallel interfaces to attached daughter boards. This document provides installation procedures, hardware specifications, and connector pinout details.

Use Cases

  • Interfacing Analog Devices evaluation boards with a PC
  • Developing software for component evaluation
  • Prototyping sensor and converter applications
  • Accessing Blackfin processor peripherals for system testing
