Overview
This application note describes the schematic, layout requirements, and bill of materials for utilizing the BGA301x family (BGA3012, BGA3015, and BGA3018) as wideband push-pull amplifiers. The design targets the 40 MHz to 1006 MHz frequency range, offering improved OIP2 and CSO performance over single-ended configurations. It includes detailed characterization of evaluation boards OM7866, OM7867, and OM7868, providing measurement data for gain, return loss, and composite distortion (CTB, CSO, XMOD) at 8V operation.
