The EPC9156 development board is primarily intended to drive laser diodes with short, high current pulses. It features the EPC21603 eToF™ laser driver IC, which monolithically integrates an ultrafast eGaN gate driver with a 10 A, 40 V eGaN IC in a BGA package. The board is capable of minimum pulse widths of less than 2 ns and peak currents exceeding 10 A with a bus voltage rating of 30 V. It ships with the EPC9989 interposer board to allow for various laser mounting options.
