This solid round cable EMI suppression core is manufactured by Fair-Rite using 31 Material, a Manganese Zinc (MnZn) ferrite designed for EMI suppression from 1 MHz to 500 MHz. The core is burnished to remove sharp edges and is intended for larger suppression parts. It suppresses conducted EMI signals on larger diameter cables such as network and peripheral cabling.
