The 32-bit embedded microprocessor is a cost-reduced 68EC020 member of the M68000 family. It uses a 32-bit architecture and supports a 32-bit data bus with a 24-bit address bus for up to 16 MB of addressable memory. The processor family includes 16.67 MHz and 25 MHz orderable variants in QFP and PGA package styles. An on-chip 256-byte instruction cache and M68000 instruction set compatibility support embedded control applications.
