
This reinforced isolated dual-channel gate driver IC is intended for SMPS applications across a mandatory safe isolation barrier. It provides 5 A source and 9 A sink output drive, supports a 650 V voltage class, and delivers 38 ns turn-on and 36 ns turn-off propagation delay with greater than 150 V/ns CMTI. The device accepts a 3 V to 17 V input VCC range, includes reinforced galvanic isolation and channel-to-channel isolation, and offers UVLO start-up in less than 2 µs. It is qualified for industrial use and is offered in a 16-pin PG-DSO-16 package.
