
This device is a single-channel USB-to-UART low-power bridge controller for upgrading UART-based equipment to USB connectivity. It supports USB 2.0 Full-Speed operation at 12 Mbit/s, UART data rates up to 3 Mbps, and includes 8 GPIOs plus 512 bytes of flash for configuration storage. The controller integrates a 48 MHz clock oscillator, internal USB termination resistors, and support for bus-powered or self-powered designs. It operates from 1.71 V to 5.50 V across the industrial temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C. This orderable version is supplied in a 28-pin SSOP package.
