The programmable system-on-chip microcontroller family integrates an M8C 8-bit Harvard-architecture CPU with configurable analog and digital peripheral blocks. Devices operate up to 24 MHz from a 3.0 V to 5.25 V supply, with operation down to 1.5 V using the on-chip switch mode pump. The family provides 16 KB of flash program memory, 1 KB of SRAM, up to 44 digital I/O pins, and up to 44 analog inputs depending on subgroup and package. Reconfigurable peripherals include timers, counters, PWMs, UARTs, SPI, I2C resources, ADCs, DACs, programmable gain amplifiers, filters, comparators, and CapSense-capable analog blocks. Industrial-temperature ordering codes support -40 °C to 85 °C operation in SSOP and QFN package options.
