This integrated smart power stage combines a synchronous buck gate driver with co-packaged high-side and low-side MOSFETs for high-frequency DC-DC conversion. It operates from a 4.25 V to 16 V input, supports 0.225 V to 5.5 V output operation, and is rated for 70 A output current with switching frequencies from 100 kHz to 1.5 MHz. The device provides on-chip current sensing at 5 µA/A and temperature telemetry with an 8 mV/°C analog output for real-time monitoring. Protection features include over-temperature shutdown, cycle-by-cycle over-current protection, high-side short detection, VDRV undervoltage lockout, and bootstrap undervoltage protection. It is supplied in a 5 mm × 6 mm × 0.9 mm PQFN package and is qualified for industrial operation from -40 °C to 125 °C junction temperature.
