This integrated smart power stage combines a synchronous buck gate driver, active diode, and co-packaged control and synchronous MOSFETs for high-current DC/DC conversion. It operates from a 4.25 V to 16 V input, supports output voltages from 0.225 V to 5.5 V, and is rated for 90 A output current with switching frequencies from 100 kHz to 1.5 MHz. The device provides on-chip current reporting at 5 µA/A, temperature reporting at 8 mV/°C, and protection functions including over-temperature shutdown, over-current protection, high-side short detection, and bootstrap undervoltage protection. It is housed in a 5 mm x 6 mm x 0.9 mm PQFN package, supports 3.3 V tri-state PWM input, and includes a deep-sleep mode with 32 µA typical current.
