This coreless magnetic current sensor is designed for AC and DC measurement on external current rails and provides a ratiometric single-ended analog output. It also includes an open-drain over-current detection output and a Digital Control Diagnostic Interface for temperature readout, safety status reporting, and EEPROM programming. The device operates from a 4.5 V to 5.5 V supply across a -40 °C to 150 °C ambient range and is housed in a PG-VSON-6 package. It is qualified for automotive applications to AEC-Q100 Grade 0 and is positioned as an ISO 26262 safety element out of context for requirements up to ASIL B.
