Programmable linear Hall sensor provides a digital SENT open-drain output compliant with SAE J2716. The sensor uses 20-bit digital signal processing with 16-bit overall resolution and digital temperature compensation. It operates from a 4.5 V to 5.5 V supply, with an extended reduced-accuracy range from 4.1 V to 16 V. Programmable magnetic ranges cover ±50 mT, ±100 mT, and ±200 mT, with EEPROM settings for gain, offset, bandwidth, clamping, and compensation coefficients. Protection features include reverse-polarity protection, overvoltage diagnostics, output short-circuit protection, and single-bit EEPROM error correction.
