The Intel RealSense Depth Camera D455 is a stereoscopic depth-sensing peripheral designed for long-range and high-precision spatial awareness. It features an extended 95mm baseline that reduces depth error to less than 2% at a distance of 4 meters. Equipped with global shutter sensors for both depth and RGB streams, it ensures accurate capture of fast-moving objects without motion blur. The integrated Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) provides 6-degrees-of-freedom (6DoF) data, making it suitable for robotics navigation, drone integration, and 3D scanning. The device is powered via USB-C and is fully compatible with the Intel RealSense SDK 2.0 for cross-platform development.
