Dual 2-phase synchronous step-down controller is designed for DDR and QDR memory termination supplies. The controller provides VDDQ and VTT outputs, with the second output tracking one-half of the reference voltage and supporting symmetrical source and sink current. No RSENSE current-mode operation eliminates current sense resistors and supports a 2.75 V to 9.8 V input range. The device supports programmable switching to 750 kHz, external synchronization, spread-spectrum operation, internal soft-start, power-good monitoring, and output overvoltage protection. The EUF ordering option uses a 24-lead 4 mm × 4 mm plastic QFN package with an exposed pad.
