Dual RS-232 line transceiver for point-to-point communication. Features two transmitters and two receivers, supporting EIA/TIA-232-E, RS-232, V.24, and V.28 interface standards. Operates on a single 5V supply (4.5V to 5.5V) with a maximum supply current of 10mA and a data rate of 120Kbps. Housed in a 16-pin SOIC W (SOP) surface-mount package with gull-wing leads, measuring 10.5mm x 7.6mm x 2.35mm. Suitable for operating temperatures from -40°C to 85°C.
