Dual transmitter/receiver bus transceiver supporting RS-232 and RS-485 standards. Features 2 transmitters and 2 receivers for RS-485, and 4 transmitters and 4 receivers for RS-232, with a minimum data rate of 10Mbps. Supports multidrop and multipoint data transmission topologies with single-ended and differential signal types. Operates from a single 5V supply (4.75V to 5.25V) within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. This 28-pin SOIC W package integrates a single transceiver with 1 driver/receiver per line for RS-232 and 32 drivers/receivers per line for RS-485.
