Step-up LED driver regulates constant current for LED strings from battery-powered inputs. The device operates from 2.4 V to 5.5 V and supports output voltages up to 32 V. It integrates a 36 V, 400 mΩ low-side switch with 1.8 A cycle-by-cycle inductor peak current limiting. Fixed-frequency PWM operation runs at 500 kHz with skip mode, internal compensation, soft-start, UVLO, open-load protection and overtemperature protection. Package options include 5-lead SOT-23 and 2 mm x 3 mm 8-lead TDFN variants rated for -40°C to +125°C operation.
