This bidirectional transient voltage suppressor is designed for surface-mount protection of voltage-sensitive circuits in the SMCJ J-bend package. It provides a 40 V reverse stand-off voltage, a 44.4 V to 49.1 V breakdown range, and a maximum clamping voltage of 64.5 V at a 23.2 A peak pulse current. The device is rated for 1500 W peak pulse power with a 10/1000 µs waveform. It operates from -65 °C to +150 °C and is intended for protection against ESD, EFT, switching transients, induced RF, and secondary lightning effects.
