The MPQ4470AGL-P is a fully-integrated, high-efficiency, synchronous, rectified, step-down, switch-mode converter. It provides a 5A continuous output current over a wide input supply range of 4.5V to 36V with excellent load and line regulation. The device integrates 40mΩ high-side and 20mΩ low-side power MOSFETs and employs proprietary switching-loss-reduction technology. The MPQ4470A variant includes protection features such as short-circuit protection (SCP), over-current protection (OCP), under-voltage protection (UVP), and thermal shutdown, though it lacks the OVP latch function present in the standard MPQ4470.
