This device is a silicon zener diode in the 1N4728A to 1N4758A family with a nominal zener voltage of 15 V and a 5% tolerance band. It is rated for 1.0 W power dissipation at TL up to 50°C with 3/8 inch lead length and uses an axial lead package corresponding to case 017AH. The operating and storage temperature range is -65°C to +200°C. For the 1N4744A entry, the datasheet lists a test current of 17 mA, maximum zener impedance of 14 ohms at IZ, leakage current of 0.25 µA, and reverse voltage of 11.4 V for the leakage condition.
