
BCP56-16 is an NPN medium-power transistor in a SOT223 (SC-73) surface-mounted plastic package. It supports up to 80 V collector-emitter voltage, 1 A continuous collector current, and 2 A peak collector current. The -16 gain selection provides a DC current gain range of 100 to 250 at VCE = 2 V and IC = 150 mA. It is intended for linear voltage regulators, MOSFET drivers, low-side switches, power management circuits, amplifiers, and battery-driven devices, and it operates over an ambient temperature range of -55 °C to 150 °C.
