The controller supports custom firmware, user-defined image data, character-to-graphic conversion using 5x7 and 7x10 fonts, and configurable switch-action reports (press/release events) and backlight settings. It interfaces with various 2-bit and 4-bit RGB or Bicolor/Single color logic boards via ribbon cables. Key features include adjustable audio feedback, user-defined backlight color, brightness control with 7 levels, and animation capabilities. Power requirement is 1 Amp at 9-12 Volts.
