Single transmitter/receiver for RS-422 communication, supporting multidrop data transmission. Features one differential transmitter and one differential receiver, each with a 3-state driving mode. Operates with dual supply voltages from 3V to 5.5V, with a minimum dual supply voltage of 3V or 4.5V. This 16-pin SOIC package, measuring 10.5mm x 7.62mm x 2.5mm, is surface-mount with gull-wing leads and a minimum data rate of 40Mbps. Suitable for operating temperatures between -40°C and 85°C.
