General-purpose NPN bipolar transistor for switching and amplification in a plastic TO-92 through-hole package. It supports up to 45 V collector-emitter voltage, 50 V collector-base voltage, and 100 mA continuous collector current. Total power dissipation is 500 mW at 25 °C ambient, with operating ambient and storage temperatures from -65 °C to +150 °C. The BC547B gain grouping is specified with DC current gain from 200 to 450 at 2 mA and 5 V, and transition frequency is at least 100 MHz under the stated test conditions.
