The LNK3206D-TL is part of the LinkSwitch-TN2 family of ICs designed for non-isolated off-line power supplies. It integrates a 725 V power MOSFET, oscillator, On/Off control scheme, a high-voltage switched current source, frequency jittering, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and thermal shutdown circuitry onto a monolithic IC. It supports buck, buck-boost, and flyback topologies while requiring a minimum number of external components. The device is highly efficient at light loads and enables designs to meet all global energy efficiency regulations.
