Dual protocol line transceiver supporting RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces. Features ±15kV ESD protection and operates from a 4.5V to 5.5V supply, with a nominal 5V. This 40-terminal device offers differential Schmitt trigger input characteristics and true output polarity. Designed for industrial temperature ranges from -40°C to 85°C, it is housed in a 6mm x 6mm S-PQCC-N40 package.
