
This 32.768 kHz MEMS oscillator is designed as a quartz crystal replacement for battery-powered and mobile timekeeping applications. It operates from 1.2 V to 3.63 V, with support for -40°C to +85°C operation at 1.5 V to 3.63 V, and delivers 20 ppm room-temperature tolerance with up to 100 ppm stability over the full industrial range. Typical core current is 0.90 µA at 1.8 V with no load, and the device provides NanoDrive programmable output swing to reduce power consumption. The 2.0 x 1.2 mm 2012 SMD package is pin-compatible with existing 32 kHz XTAL footprints, and the oscillator output eliminates external load capacitors while internal filtering removes the usual need for a bypass capacitor.
