This programmable MEMS oscillator provides factory-set output frequencies from 1 Hz to 32.768 kHz in powers of two for low-frequency timing and pulse-per-second functions. It operates from 1.2 V to 3.63 V, draws as little as 0.9 µA typical core current at 1.8 V, and supports NanoDrive programmable output swing to reduce power. Frequency tolerance is specified to 20 ppm at 25°C, with stability options up to 75 ppm, 100 ppm, 150 ppm, or 250 ppm depending on supply range and temperature option. The device supports operating temperature ranges up to -55°C to +85°C, starts within 300 ms plus one period at 25°C, and is offered in very small chip-scale and XTAL-compatible SMD footprints.
