This MEMS programmable oscillator supports factory-programmed powers-of-two output frequencies from 1 Hz to 32.768 kHz for low-frequency timing and pulse-per-second applications. It operates from a 1.2 V to 3.63 V supply and draws as little as 0.9 µA typical core current at 1.8 V with no load. Frequency tolerance is 20 ppm at 25°C, and frequency stability is specified to 75 ppm over -10°C to +70°C or 100 ppm over -40°C to +85°C when operated from 1.5 V to 3.63 V. The device uses a compact chip-scale form factor, offers programmable output swing with NanoDrive technology, and eliminates the need for external load capacitors.
