
This programmable MEMS oscillator provides a factory-set output frequency from 1 Hz to 32.768 kHz in powers of two. It operates from a 1.2 V to 3.63 V supply and draws 0.9 µA typical core current at 1.8 V with no load. The device uses a programmable NanoDrive output stage with reduced swing options from 0.20 V to 0.80 V and supports 48% to 52% duty cycle operation. It delivers 20 ppm frequency tolerance at 25°C, 35 ns RMS period jitter, and startup as fast as 300 ms plus one clock period at 25°C. The oscillator output eliminates the need for external load capacitors and the internal filtering removes the need for an external bypass capacitor under normal operating conditions.
