
This programmable MEMS oscillator supports factory-set output frequencies from 1 Hz to 32.768 kHz in powers of two for low-frequency timing and pulse-per-second operation. It operates from a 1.2 V to 3.63 V supply and delivers typ. 0.9 µA core current with low-power NanoDrive output options. Frequency tolerance is specified at 20 ppm at 25°C, and stability is specified up to 100 ppm over -40°C to +85°C at 1.5 V to 3.63 V. The device is designed for very small-footprint implementations and eliminates the need for external load capacitors and, under normal conditions, a bypass capacitor.
