A three-phase gallium nitride (GaN) inverter evaluation module is engineered for high-efficiency power conversion in motor control applications. Operating from a 12 V to 60 V DC input, with a nominal 48 V DC, it provides up to 10 A peak and 7 A RMS per phase. The module incorporates LMG5200 GaN half-bridge power stages and features integrated shunt-based in-line current sensing utilizing INA240 amplifiers. Onboard LM5017 DC/DC converters reliably generate 5V and 3.3V rails for system operation. Compatible with BoosterPack-compliant C2000 MCU LaunchPad development kits, it functions across a -25°C to +85°C operating temperature range. This robust design makes it ideal for servo drives, precision motor control, and robotics.
