The BOOSTXL-PGA460 is a BoosterPack plug-in module designed to evaluate the PGA460-Q1 ultrasonic sensor signal conditioner IC. It is compatible with the TI LaunchPad ecosystem, specifically the MSP-EXP430F5529LP development kit. The module allows for the evaluation of both transformer-driven closed-top and direct-driven open-top ultrasonic transducers. It features a swappable daughtercard for testing various transducer and driver configurations. The onboard PGA460-Q1 IC integrates a low-noise amplifier, programmable gain stage, and an advanced DSP core for echo envelope detection and distance measurement. The board can be powered via USB from the LaunchPad or through an external 6V to 28V power source.
