Linear battery charger for Lithium-Ion and Lithium-Polymer batteries, supporting a 4.2V battery pack voltage and single-cell operation. Features a maximum charge current of 500mA and a maximum output current of 1.5A with a 4.4V output voltage. Operates within a wide temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and includes fault protection for over voltage, over temperature, short circuit, and reverse current. This 16-pin VQFN EP package component offers USB interface and is RoHS compliant.
