The LM3447 is a versatile power factor correction (PFC) controller designed for residential and commercial phase-cut dimmer compatible LED lamp drivers. It features a primary side control technique with input voltage feedforward to regulate LED power and achieve line regulation. The device includes an integrated phase angle decode for 50:1 dimming range, valley switching for high efficiency, and thermal foldback for LED protection.
