The LM3466 is a linear LED driver designed for lighting systems consisting of multiple LED strings powered by a constant current power supply. It integrates a 70V, 1.5A MOSFET and equalizes the current provided by the supply in a pre-set ratio for each active LED string. The device maintains constant overall system brightness even if some strings open by automatically balancing the remaining supply current through the active strings. It features a linear topology that does not deteriorate EMI performance and requires no communication to or from the constant current supply.
