The LM3501 is a fixed-frequency step-up DC/DC converter designed for driving white LEDs in series for display backlighting. It features fully integrated synchronous switching, eliminating the need for an external Schottky diode, and operates at a fixed 1 MHz switching frequency. It provides a low feedback voltage of 515 mV to optimize power efficiency and includes internal over-voltage protection (OVP) and thermal shutdown.
