The LM3508 is a synchronous boost converter designed to drive up to 4 series white LEDs with a constant current of up to 30mA from a single-cell Li-Ion battery. It eliminates the need for an external Schottky diode and features an 850kHz switching frequency, over-voltage protection, and internal soft-start to eliminate in-rush current. The device also includes advanced short-circuit protection and true shutdown isolation to prevent leakage current through the LEDs.
