The LM36011 is an ultra-small LED flash driver that provides a high level of adjustability. It features a 1.5-A high-side current source and 128 programmable levels for both flash and movie mode (torch). The device operates over an input voltage range of 2.5 V to 5.5 V and is controlled via a 400-kHz I2C-compatible interface. It includes features such as hardware strobe enable, flash time-out up to 1.6 seconds, thermal scale-back, and LED fault detection. Its inductorless design and DSBGA packaging result in a total solution size of less than 4 mm2.
