The LP8865U-Q1 is a highly integrated, non-synchronous multi-topology LED driver designed for automotive applications. It supports a wide input voltage range of 4.5 V to 65 V and features an integrated 2.6-A, 150-mΩ low-side NMOS switch. The device is optimized for high power density and efficiency, supporting buck, boost, and buck-boost topologies. It includes Inductive Fast Dimming (IFD) technology for high dimming accuracy and supports analog, PWM, hybrid, and flexible dimming methods. Safety features include LED open/short protection, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and thermal foldback.
