The LP8868Y-Q1 is a non-synchronous multi-topology LED driver with a 4.5-V to 65-V wide input range. It integrates a low-side 5.2-A, 150-mΩ NMOS switch, supporting buck, buck-boost, and boost topologies. The device features a configurable switching frequency from 100 kHz to 2.2 MHz with optional spread spectrum for EMI reduction. It supports four dimming options: analog (256:1), PWM (150-ns pulse width), hybrid, and flexible dimming, configured via PWM and ADIM pins. Protection features include LED open/short protection, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and thermal foldback.
