The TLC59291 is a constant-current sink LED driver with 8 or 16 channels. Each channel can be turned on or off via internal registers. It features 7-bit global brightness control with 128 steps, and a power-save mode reducing consumption to 10 µA. The device includes comprehensive diagnostics: LED open detection (LOD), LED short detection (LSD), output leakage detection (OLD), reference terminal short detection (ISF), pre-thermal warning (PTW), and thermal error flag (TEF).
