The TLC5944 is a 16-channel, constant-current sink LED driver. Each channel has an individually adjustable, 4096-step pulse-width modulation (PWM) grayscale (GS) brightness control and a 64-step constant-current dot correction (DC). DC adjusts brightness deviations between channels. A single external resistor sets the maximum current value of all 16 channels. The device features LED open detection, thermal shutdown, and a pre-charge FET for ghosting reduction.
