The TLC5949 is a 16-channel, constant-current sink LED driver. Each channel has an individually-adjustable, 12-bit (4096 steps) pulse width modulation (PWM) grayscale brightness control. All channels share a 7-bit (128 steps) global brightness control (BC) to adjust brightness deviation between drivers. It features a 33 MHz serial interface, enhanced spectrum PWM, and comprehensive self-diagnosis including LED open/short detection, output leakage detection, and thermal error flags.
